During the meeting, the Presidents of the Courts discussed several key issues related to the future cooperation between the two institutions, which culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2397 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nssud.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/1.jpg\" alt=\"Karel \u0160imka and Pavol Na\u010f.\" width=\"1280\" height=\"848\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation between the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic and the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic and its Chancellery took place on 14 March 2024 at the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic in Brno. The signing of the Memorandum thus formally anchored the close cooperation between the local court and its Czech counterpart, which has been ongoing since the first months after the establishment of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation signed with our partner Czech court has a significant institutional significance and at the same time a very concrete content framework for joint activities and exchange of valuable knowledge gained in the exercise of the judiciary. The content of the Memorandum clearly shows very beneficial activities with the potential to improve the quality of the administration of administrative justice both on our side and on the Czech side. It is therefore important to note that the implementation of the Memorandum in its entirety by both parties is in the interest of the parties to the proceedings who expect our quality decisions issued within a reasonable time,&#8221; said the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic, Pavol Na\u010f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2400 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nssud.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2.jpg\" alt=\"President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic Pavol Na\u010f.\" width=\"1280\" height=\"848\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The cooperation of the highest judicial instances will be aimed at the mutual exchange of information, knowledge and experience concerning their activities. Specifically, this will include cooperation on professional events and educational activities enabling discussion on important and topical legal issues, as well as cooperation on publication activities. The exchange of information, knowledge and experience should also take place at the level of the analytical sections of both courts, by providing translations of legal documents produced in the context of the work of each court and of legal documents and studies to which the courts have access through international networks.
