Based on the results of the selection procedure, the selection committee recommended that the President of the Supreme Administrative Court submit a proposal to the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic to transfer the successful candidates to the local court to perform the duties of judges. They are JUDr. Eva V\u00e9konyov\u00e1 and JUDr. Vlastimil Pavlikovsk\u00fd, who are currently temporarily assigned judges at the Supreme Administrative Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A total of two candidates participated in the selection procedure to fill two vacant positions of judges of the Supreme Administrative Court from 25 to 28 August 2025. The members of the selection committee verified their professional knowledge, general overview, ability for creative thinking, speed of reasoning, verbal expression and knowledge of a foreign language.<\/p>\n

The written part, given the fact that these were judges who met the conditions set by law, consisted only of a translation from a foreign language. This was followed by a psychological assessment and finally an oral part, in which the candidates presented their professional experience and motivation to perform a function of a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court. They also answered questions from the members of the selection committee, which were aimed at verifying their professional knowledge and personal prerequisites for performing the function. After adding up the total number of points obtained in the individual parts of the selection procedure, the members of the selection committee announced the results, stating that both candidates were successful in the selection procedure.<\/p>\n

JUDr. Eva V\u00e9konyov\u00e1 worked in the legal profession from 1999 to 2005. From 2005 to 2014 she was a judge at the District Court in Tren\u010d\u00edn, where she mainly dealt with civil law matters. From 2014 to 2023 she was a judge at the Regional Court in Tren\u010d\u00edn, where she worked on the administrative panel. Since 2023 she has been a judge at the civil chamber at the Regional Court in Tren\u010d\u00edn.<\/p>\n

JUDr. Vlastimil Pavlikovsk\u00fd was a judge and president of the panel at the District Court in Bratislava II from 2004 to 2007, where he dealt with civil matters and proceedings on actions for the review of the legality of decisions of administrative bodies. From 2007 to 2010 he directed the service office of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic. From 2010 to 2023, he served as the president of the panel and judge of the administrative chamber at the Regional Court in Bratislava. Since 2023, he has been the president of the panel and judge of the commercial chamber at the Regional Court in Bratislava.<\/p>\n

The members of the selection committee were JUDr. Mari\u00e1n Tren\u010dan (elected by the plenary of the Supreme Administrative Court), JUDr. Petra Pr\u00edbelsk\u00e1, PhD. (elected by the Judicial Council of the Supreme Administrative Court), JUDr. Katar\u00edna Benczov\u00e1 (appointed by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court from the database of candidates for members of the selection committee elected by the Judicial Council), JUDr. Mari\u00e1n Fe\u010d\u00edk and Prof. JUDr. Miroslav \u0160trkolec, PhD. (appointed by the President of the Supreme Administrative Court from the database of candidates for members of the selection committee appointed by the Minister of Justice).<\/p>\n
