Judge of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic is exempted from the disciplinary motion

During Tuesday’s oral hearing, the Disciplinary Panel of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic also conducted more extensive evidence, including interviews with several witnesses. In addition to the judge of the Regional Court in Žilina, the former president of the Regional Court in Žilina and several judges of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic also testified before the panel.

The President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic proposed to impose a disciplinary measure in the form of a reprimand, the Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic proposed to transfer the judge of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic to a lower court.

The decision of the Disciplinary Panel was adopted unanimously and is not subject to appeal. Detailed reasons for the decision will be given in the written version.

In the disciplinary case of the President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic and the Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic c/a Judge JUDr. Dana Wänkeová, the decision was taken by Panel No. 31 of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic, composed of: the President of the Panel, prof.
