Judicial Council
The Judicial Council is a body of judicial self-government and participates in the management and administration of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic (hereinafter referred to as the “Supreme Administrative Court”). It shall have at least three and no more than nine members elected and recalled by the plenary of the Supreme Administrative Court.
Should the Judicial Council not be elected, the powers of the Judicial Council shall be exercised by the plenary of the Supreme Administrative Court.
The Chairperson of the Judicial Council of the Supreme Administrative Court is: JUDr. Petra Príbelská, PhD.
The Vice-Chairman of the Judicial Council of the Supreme Administrative Court is: JUDr. Juraj Vališ, LL.M.

The Judicial Council of the Supreme Administrative Court:
- expresses its opinion on the draft budget of the Supreme Administrative Court,
- discusses the report of the President of the Supreme Administrative Court on the use of budgetary resources,
- discusses the draft Work Schedule of the Supreme Administrative Court and adopts an opinion thereon,
- decides on objections from judges,
- initiating disciplinary proceedings,
- co-decides on certain salary matters for judges,
- approves the Rules of Procedure of the Judicial Council,
- at the request of the President of the Supreme Administrative Court, takes opinions on matters falling within its competence,
- decides on other matters if a special law so provides.
