Judge Juraj Vačok discussed the status of the supreme administrative courts at a conference in Poznan
On 23 and 24 November 2023, a conference on the role of the supreme administrative courts from a comparative perspective was held at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland.

The conference was attended by experts from seven European countries. Discussions focused on the relationship of the supreme administrative courts to the legislature, the executive and the judiciary. From Slovakia, Juraj Vačok, a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic, was invited. During his speech, he presented the reasons for the establishment of the Supreme Administrative Court, the way it was created and how it is anchored in the legal system. During the conference, individual specifics of the Supreme Administrative Courts were compared, including competences that go beyond the exercise of judicial power.
