Meeting of the management of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic and the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic

On 10th September 2026, the first meeting took place at the Supreme Administrative Court between Monika Valašiková, President of the Supreme Administrative Court, and Janette Šamová, Head of the Chancellery of the Supreme Administrative Court, with František Mozner, President of the Supreme Court, its Vice-President Terézia Mecelová, and the Head of the Chancellery of the Supreme Court Michal Belák.

The management of both courts and their chancelleries discussed the latest developments regarding plans for a future joint headquarters, in connection with which an architectural competition has now been launched for the reconstruction of the building at Župné námestie in Bratislava. The Presidents of both courts also addressed the forthcoming transfer of Supreme Court judges to the Supreme Administrative Court. As part of the cooperation between the two institutions, the court Presidents plan to build on a useful tradition and continue with joint professional training, as has been the case in previous years. Monika Valašiková and František Mozner agreed on the need to deepen cooperation and maintain communication between the supreme judicial institutions on other issues that are common to both supreme courts.
