Pavol Naď has ended his term as President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic

Pavol Naď, the first-ever President of the Supreme Administrative Court, ended his term on 18^th May, 2026.

The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic elected Pavol Naď to the position in April 2021, and President Zuzana Čaputová subsequently appointed him as the first-ever president of the newly established Supreme Administrative Court. His term of office began on 18^th May, 2021.

The Supreme Administrative Court will be temporarily led by its Vice-President Marián Trenčan, who took office on 12^th October, 2021, and may therefore lead the court until 12^th October, 2026. If a new President has not been selected by that time, the most senior judge of the court will perform the President’s urgent duties in accordance with the law.
