Pavol Naď, the first-ever President of the Supreme Administrative Court, ended his term on 18th May, 2026.
The Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic elected Pavol Naď to the position in April 2021, and President Zuzana Čaputová subsequently appointed him as the first-ever president of the newly established Supreme Administrative Court. His term of office began on 18th May, 2021.
The Supreme Administrative Court will be temporarily led by its Vice-President Marián Trenčan, who took office on 12th October, 2021, and may therefore lead the court until 12th October, 2026. If a new President has not been selected by that time, the most senior judge of the court will perform the President’s urgent duties in accordance with the law.
