President of the Court Pavol Naď praised the work of European judicial institutions in Paris
“The independence, quality and speed of proceedings before the courts is clearly the best fulfilment of the requirements for the activities of judicial institutions in the European legal area, in accordance with the content of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union,” said the President of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic, Pavol Naď, after the discussion at the Paris conference.

The President of the Supreme Administrative Court also participated in a workshop at the headquarters of the French Constitutional Council, which included a discussion between the Presidents of the Supreme Courts of the European Union. They discussed the new challenges currently facing the courts in the fields of public health, technology and the environment.
The opening plenary session featured presentations by the French Minister of Justice, Eric Dupont-Moretti, the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, the President of the Constitutional Council of the French Republic, Laurent Fabius, and the President of the European Court of Human Rights, Robert Spano.
The Slovak delegation, which attended a two-day working programme in Paris, also included the President of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Fiačan, and the President of the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic, Ján Šikuta.
