The international conference also discussed administrative punishment

Since 1987, the Institute of State and Law of the Slovak Academy of Sciences has been organising the conference at two-yearly intervals. Juraj Vačok, a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic, presented a research paper on “Contemporary interpretation of the law – challenges for standard-setting on the example of administrative punishment” at the conference.  After the lecture, the attendees were given the opportunity to ask questions.

The expert conference entitled “Knowledge and interpretation of law – issues of methodology” was also attended on behalf of the Supreme Administrative Court by JUDr. Ida Hanzelová, Advisor to the President of the Court, and Mgr. Soňa Havlíková from the Analytical Department.
