The Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic will publish materials from selected educational events
A new subpage titled “Conferences and Events” has been added to the “Court” section of the Supreme Administrative Court’s website. On this subpage, the court plans to publish materials from certain educational events that it either organized or in which judges of this court or employees of its Office participated. The first material published is the proceedings from the professional symposium “Bankruptcy and Restructuring in Civil Procedure and Administrative Court Procedure,” which took place in the fall of 2025 and was organized by the Supreme Administrative Court in cooperation with the Supreme Court of the Slovak Republic.
The event served as a professional platform for exchanging knowledge and harmonizing perspectives on selected issues of insolvency law that extend into civil procedure and administrative court procedure. The symposium collection includes contributions from speakers representing the supreme judicial authorities and legal theory, specifically retired judge Prof. JUDr. Milan Ďurica, PhD., Judges of the Supreme Administrative Court, JUDr. Marián Fečík and Mgr. Michal Novotný, and Judges of the Supreme Court, JUDr. Andrea Moravčíková, PhD., and JUDr. Ivana Nemčeková. The collection thus provides a comprehensive overview of the issues surrounding bankruptcy and restructuring, including their procedural implications for civil procedure and administrative court procedure. It presents the speakers’ perspectives on practical application challenges, along with references to specific decisions addressing the aforementioned legal issues. In addition to the presentations from the symposium, the collection contains professional materials in the form of case law searches based on the decisions of both supreme judicial institutions.
Another set of materials to be published on the Supreme Administrative Court’s new “Conferences and Events” webpage will be the presentations from the symposium “The Foundations of a New Era of Administrative Justice in Slovakia in Practice,” which took place in May 2026.
