Visit of a delegation from the Curia of Hungary
In recent days, the management of the Supreme Administrative Court of the Slovak Republic hosted an official visit of representatives of the Hungarian Curia, led by its President András Zs. Varga.
The subject of the bilateral meeting, which took place on the 8th of February 2024, was mainly the exchange of experience in the organisation and management of the administrative judicial system, as well as the sharing of good practice in the functioning of both courts. The official programme was complemented not only by a joint lunch of the delegations, but also by a cultural programme in the form of a tour of the Bratislava Castle.
The Slovak delegation was represented by the President of the local court Pavol Naď, the Vice-President Marián Trenčan, the Presidents of the Panels Viola Takáčová and Peter Potásch and the International Relations and Protocol Specialist Alica Smolíčková. Ľuboš Szigeti, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic, also attended the working lunch that followed the meeting.i.
On behalf of the Hungarian side, Vice-President Katalin Böszörményiné Kovács, Secretary General Judit Gyarmathy, Head of the Administrative Chamber Tibor Kalas and International Relations Officer Lipót Höltzl accepted the invitation together with the President of the Curia.
This meeting was the culmination of the mutual visits of the representatives of the Supreme Administrative Court with their counterparts from the highest courts of administrative justice in the neighbouring countries of the European Union.
